Sweet Sensitivity/Diet (2025-04)

Are your teeth "Sensitive"?

Teeth can be sensitive for many reasons? The most obvious of these is because of a cavity (or hole) in a tooth that needs to be fixed. Holes in our teeth are caused by a combination of the foods and drinks that we consume AND an inefficient tooth brushing. The more sweet things that we consume, the increased chances of cavities forming.

Teeth can be sensitive for other reasons too, for example a person who is brushing too hard or doesn't have the correct technique. Did you know that you can actually do damage to your teeth and your gums with a poor tooth-brushing technique!

With all dental problems, early intervention is always best so now is a great time to get your teeth assessed and find out if any of these problems apply to you!  If your teeth are sensitive and you want to know what is causing it, give us a call and book an appointment.  Come in and let one of our friendly dentists discuss your situation and what can be done to remedy your problems!
